Have we met our sketching objectives?

At the beginning of this course I set out a few objective I had in mind, and I just wanted to come back now we're finished to check we've met them and reflect on our progress together.

We said we would...

  1. Have a greater understanding of value, tone, and colour theory and how to apply them in sketching

  2. Develop practical watercolour skills that let you loosen up and enjoy sketching

  3. Creatively experiment and start developing your style

  4. Be confident to share your art with others, through sharing in the 'Sketch Loose' community

What do you think?

So, have a read through these points again and think have you met them? Or did you have your own goals in mind when setting out on this course?

Let me know in the community how things have gone, what were the biggest learning points and the biggest challenges for you!

If you have any feedback, positive or constructive do get in touch so I can be sure to continue to keep this a vibrant and useful course going forward.

Happy sketching!
