FAQ: What’s the Difference Between Skillshare and SketchLoose Courses?

I offer courses on both Skillshare and SketchLoose, but there’s a big difference in how they’re structured.
SketchLoose Courses
A fully personalized experience—this is where I teach in depth, based on my own philosophy of sketching.
Each course builds on theory through practical application, designed for real artistic development.
Includes multiple sketching exercises within each workshop.
Personal feedback—I respond to every comment and question inside the course.
Periodically updated based on student feedback, so the courses keep improving.
Live sessions to address specific questions and challenges.
Structured to take you from doodling and habit-building all the way to serious sketching skills.
If you’re looking for a comprehensive learning experience, where you can go from casual sketcher to confident artist, then SketchLoose courses are the best way to do that.
Skillshare Courses
A growing library with 40+ courses, with new classes every two months.
Each course is short, bite-sized, and designed for quick learning, doodling, and sketchbook fun.
Focuses on building sketching habits and creative play through simple projects.
A great way to dip into different topics and experiment with techniques.
Offers quality, structured lessons, but there’s no direct interaction or feedback from me.
💡 Want to try Skillshare? You can often get one month free when signing up for a 12-month plan—check Skillshare for the latest offers.
SkillShare is fantastic for casual learning and exploring different styles, but if you want serious growth, personal feedback, and a deeper understanding of my sketching process, then SketchLoose is where that happens.
Which One is Right for You?
If you just want quick, fun projects or to dip into different topics, Skillshare is great.
If you want a real path to improvement, feedback, and a deeper understanding of sketching, SketchLoose is the way to go.
